PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method of a V-belt capable of objectively determining the acceptance or rejection of a bending distortion of the vee-belt. SOLUTION: A pair of pulleys 3, 3 where pulley grooves 2 with the vee-belt 1 stuck therein are installed on the outer of the pulleys 3, 3 are arranged; therewith the width of the opening of the pulley groove 2a of an inspection pulley 3a is formed less than the upper width of the V-belt 1, with either of the pulleys 3 as the inspection pulley 3a; therewith the depth thereof is formed smaller than the height of the V-belt 1. Then, the acceptance or rejection of the V-belt 1 is determined by whether the V-belt 1 reverses or not, by winding the V-belt 1 between the pulleys 3, 3 to drive the vee-belt 1.
