PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that user-friendliness of apparatus operation is bad since each apparatus has an exclusive operation interface in the conventional apparatus which does not correspond to a home network and the problem that operating procedure becomes complicated since a layered structure is followed in selecting for operation in the conventional remote operation terminal which corresponds to the home network. SOLUTION: This operation terminal is provided with an automatic button and a shortcut input part as interfaces. That is, the automatic button of the operation terminal is provided with an automatic function by which an apparatus connected to the home network is operated in compliance with situations. Further, an operation object apparatus which changes hierarchically and the selection of an operation subject situation are assigned to shortcut inputs which are peculiar to the operation object apparatus and the operation object situation.
