PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic station for a photography instrument that can operate surely buttons of all the photography instruments. SOLUTION: The automatic station is equipped with an infrared ray detector 1, an operating means 2 that is mounted on a predetermined position of the photography instrument 70 and operates the buttons of the photography instrument 70 when the infrared ray detector 1 has detected infrared rays, and an electrical power source of the infrared ray detector 1 and operating means 2. The operating means 2 includes an electromagnetic solenoid 30, a plunger 40 arranged movably inside a cavity of the electromagnetic solenoid 30, and an operating rod 45 that is mounted on a point of the plunger 40 in an adjustable manner in length and abuts against the buttons of the photography instrument 70. The operating rod 45 is a screw screwed into a threaded hole 41 formed in the plunger 40 and its length protruding from the point of the plunger 40 is adjustable by turning.
