PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmitting method for transmitting audio data with high quality, by enhancing the use rate of a line on the side of a faster data transmission rate of an asymmetric digital line. SOLUTION: When a transmission path from a second communication system 20b to a first communication system 20a has a margin on data transmission, the second communication system 20b establishes the extent of compression within the limit of the margin.
