PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna assembly with a proper irradiation pattern and small deterioration in active impedance. SOLUTION: The antenna assembly comprises a plurality of parallel plates composed of conductor plates, a plurality of taper slot antennas arranged sequentially to a same direction between adjacent parallel plates, and a scatter placed between the taper slot antennas arranged between the adjacent parallel plates. The scatter is a conductor short-circuiting plate for short-circuiting between two parallel plates. Moreover, the scatter is a dielectric component.
