PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure cleaning property as well as inhibiting outflow of ozone in an air cleaner for cleaning air using active oxygen species generated by dissociation of an oxygen molecule. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a discharge part 14 for carrying out dissociation of the oxygen molecule by discharging; and a separation membrane 19 for dividing a discharge area of the discharge part 14 and a ventilation area where air flows by covering the discharge part 14. Pores 20 for permitting passing of the active oxygen species of the active oxygen species and ozone generated by dissociation of the oxygen molecule and inhibiting passing of the ozone are formed on the separation membrane 19. According to this, the active oxygen species of the active oxygen species and ozone can be diffused in preferential to the ventilation area 18 side by passing through the pores 20 of the separation membrane 19.
