PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic mast of a vehicle for high lift work, preventing foreign matter from entering a mast device. SOLUTION: The mast device is substantially vertically erected on a freely travelling truck. The mast device is composed of a base end mast member, an intermediate mast member and a tip mast member, and a working table is mounted on the tip mast member. The tip mast member is formed like a cylinder having an opening at the upper end, its vertical length is made shorter than the base end mast member and the intermediate mast member, when the tip mast member is most contracted, at least either the intermediate mast member or the base end mast member is projected upward through an opening at the upper end of the tip mast member, and when the tip mast member is expanded, the intermediate mast member and the base end mast member are not projected through the opening of the tip mast member.
