PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the equipment itself is expensive because the use of an air cylinder requires the air equipment for sending compressed air, so it can be used only in the limited environment. SOLUTION: In this transport roller pressing mechanism, a crankshaft 6 having a crank 2 and a cam shaft 5 having a cam 4 fixed to a support shaft are disposed, and a roller pressing unit 3 having a driven roller 21 fitted on a driving roller 22 at the forward end is disposed so that the driven roller is rocked up and down according to the movement of the crank 2 and the cam 4 through the shaft 14. The cam shaft 5 is provided with a reversible motor 7 for giving rotary motion to the cam 4, a gear head 8 for decelerating to a proper rotating angle and a gear 9. Further, sensors 11, 12 for controlling the rotating position of the cam 4 and a shielding plate 13 are mounted on the cam shaft.
