PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a satellite orbit system that a waiting orbit for a backup flight model must be determined so that the backup flight model is brought into an optimum waiting state for any of a plurality of orbits for quasi-geostationary satellites. SOLUTION: In this satellite orbit system having a plurality of satellites 14a to 14c providing communication services to the earth by moving around the plurality of orbits for quasi-stationary satellites and the backup flight model 14d to ready for the failure of the satellites by moving around the waiting routes, the backup flight model 14d is disposed in a stationary satellite route 12 in which the inclination angles thereof from the plurality of orbits for quasi-stationary satellites are equal to each other.
