Peaked cap has stripes of red, black and gold sewn on across left hand corner of brim to provide flash of German flag

The peaked cap has three stripes in black/red/gold sewn onto brim. Each individual stripe has a width of about 12 mm. The stripes together produce the German flag. The stripes run from the upper left hand side of the brim towards the centre.
