A process for producing wooden components with one or more strand layers with a binding agent system, comprises one or more duroplastic hardening components. The second hardening binding agent hardens at a higher temperature and/or pressure than the first. The strands are pressed during a primary stage and are partially hardened. A process for producing wooden components with one or more strand layers with a binding agent system, comprises one or more duroplastic hardening components. The second hardening binding agent hardens at a higher temperature and/or pressure than the first. The strands are pressed during a primary stage and are partially hardened. The wooden component is then formed during a second stage, during which the binding agent is finally hardened. The duroplastic binding agent system is modified using a third binding agent, especially a natural adhesive, eg a protein and/or starch containing product. Pressing in the first stage takes place below 120[deg]C, and above 150[deg]C during the second stage.
