<p>A short light pulse generator capable of simply letting an incident light wavelength resonate with the oscillation light of semiconductor laser without using a wavelength regulator for regulating an incident light wavelength, constantly controlling pulse-generation timing jitter in a short light pulse, and being produced inexpensively. The short light pulse generator (1), for oscillating a semiconductor laser (20) to intermittently output light, comprises a light emission control unit (10) for controlling the state of an output light from the semiconductor laser (20), and a feedback light entry unit (30) for spectrally separating the output light and beaming the separated feedback light to the semiconductor laser (20), wherein the feedback light entry unit (30) is provided with a phase regulating means for controlling a feedback timing of beaming a feedback light to the semiconductor laser (20) and the polarization direction of a feedbck light at a timing of beaming to the semiconductor laser (20).</p> |
