<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic separator which is light in weight and small-sized, and has a high separation power. <P>SOLUTION: A permanent magnet roller 12 for separating iron powder is rotatively driven by a motor and, when a glass powder group is supplied from a chute 22 to the peripheral surface of the permanent magnet roller 12 for separating iron powder, iron powder mixed in the glass powder group is attracted/attached on the peripheral surface of the permanent magnet roller 12 for iron powder separation and is separated from glass powder G. The iron powder deposited on the permanent magnet roller 12 for separating iron powder is attached to a rubber belt 28 which is hung on a permanent magnet roller 24 for taking out iron powder because magnetic substances are released from the permanent magnet roller 12 for separating iron powder by a magnetic force of the permanent magnet roller 24 for taking out iron powder. The iron powder attached to the rubber belt 28 is conveyed to a position sufficiently separated from the position to which the magnetic force reaches and falls by the force of gravity when the rubber belt 28 is turned back by a tension roller 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
