<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for an air-conditioner, suppressing dew condensation near a heat insulating layer. <P>SOLUTION: The indoor unit for the air-conditioner comprises a supporting portion 14, a scroll 12, a bottom face portion 75, and ribs 91, 92, 93, 94. The supporting portion 14, the scroll 12 and the bottom face portion 75 form a first enclosed space S1 which is functioned as the heat insulating layer with air being enclosed.
