<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convey sufficiently charged toner to a counter part of an image carrying body by suppressing mechanical stress added to the toner with an easy configuration, by increasing the electrification rising rate of the toner, and by preventing the charges from being attenuated. <P>SOLUTION: In the developing apparatus 4 equipped with a developer housing part 40 to house a developer containing toner and with a developing roller 41 to carry and convey the developer to the counter part of the photoreceptor 1, the toner contains a charge generating substance and a charge transport substance for electrophotography in its base body. The apparatus is equipped with a doctor blade 42 as a member for making a thin layer and energizing in the developer conveying passage from the developer housing part to the counter part so as to regulate the amount of the developer passing to form a thin layer and to energize the passing toner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
