<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holographic recording system in which, with a simple configuration, a holographic recording beam can follow up a recording medium even if the recording medium is moved at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: The holographic recording system is provided with a chopper lens 30 which moves in the same direction in synchronization with the holographic recording medium 14.
