<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which executes control of image formation conditions adapted to change of the amount of toner electrification in developer and realizes suitable image control even when environment changes. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus having an image formation means with a developing device 4 which develops an electrostatic image formed on an image carrier 1 by the developer 48 containing non-magnetic toner and a magnetic carrier, a concentration sensor 100 which detects toner concentration in the developing device 4 and a magnetic sensor 200 which detects magnetic characteristics of the developer 48 in the developing device 4, the image formation conditions by the image formation means are controlled according to output detected by the magnetic sensor 200 while the toner concentration in the developer 4 is controlled according to output of the concentration sensor 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
