<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably reuse recording paper in an ejection part. <P>SOLUTION: The recording paper at least one side of which has been subjected to printing and which is ejected to a first ejection tray 241 is fetched bythe operation control of each part of an image forming apparatus by a fetching control part 101, and the presence/absence of a printed image (original image) on the other side of the fetched recording paper is detected by an image sensor 252. Then, when no printed image is detected by the image sensor 252, a recording part 210 performs printing on the other side of the recording paper. Consequently, since the presence/absence of the original image in the recording paper fetched from the ejection part is detected and the reusable sheets and the sheets which are not reusable are automatically distinguished, the recording paper in the ejection part is easily and reliably reused. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
