<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head protection airbag device capable of opening an airbag cover smoothly when an airbag is deployed and inflated even though the airbag cover is separated from a roof head lining and divided into a plurality of bodies in the longitudinal direction. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag cover 18 is provided with a plurality of divided bodies 19A, 19B divided in the longitudinal direction, and a connection part 34 arranged between the adjacent divided bodies 19A, 19B. The divided bodies 19A, 19B are provided with a main body part 20, and an attachment part 25 protruded in the longitudinal direction from the vicinity of the end edge 20a on the connection part 34 side in the main body part 20. The connection part 34 is provided with a cover part 35 capable of covering the cabin side of the attachment parts 25, 25 in the adjacent divided bodies 19A, 19B, and being opened to make the airbag protruded to the cabin side together with the main body parts 20 of the divided bodies 19A, 19B when the airbag is deployed and inflated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
