PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus, easily and simply placing a printed paper sheet without any alteration of internal arrangement in an existing printing means. SOLUTION: A discharge surface of a casing 1 constituting the printing apparatus is cut out to form an opening part 11a, and a pair of engagement recessed parts 11c are provided in the opening part 11a. A stacker for placing a discharged paper sheet P in the outside is constituted by a tray 121 provided with an engagement projecting part 12b engaged with the engagement recessed part 11c and pivoted to turn in a required degree arc from the closed state toward the outside and a stopper 122 stored in parallel to the tray 121 and pivoted to be erected.
