PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent surface peeling and surface cracking when manufacturing a porous powder sintered body composed of titanium or titanium alloy and to improve manufacturing yields. SOLUTION: A molybdenum material or molybdenum-alloy material having≤0.1μm center line average roughness Ra of surface and≤1.0μm maximum height Rz is used for a setter on which titanium or titanium-alloy powder is placed.
