PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply hydraulic oil efficiently and eliminate wasteful power consumption with regard to a hydraulic control device for an injection molding machine equipped with a squirrel-cage induction motor for driving a hydraulic pump. SOLUTION: The hydraulic control device for the injection molding machine is equipped with the squirrel-cage induction motor 2 which drives the hydraulic pump 1 for supplying the hydraulic oil to a plurality of hydraulic actuators; a speed change-over controller 21 which switches an electrical signal to be outputted from a load detector 20 for detecting the load of the motor 2 to a speed signal; and an inverter controller 22 which controls the rotational frequency of a squirrel-cage electromagnetic induction machine 2 by the outputted speed signal. Thus it is possible to feed the hydraulic oil efficiently, and thereby, eliminate the wasteful power consumption because the rotational frequency of the squirrel-cage induction motor 2 is controlled by the inverter controller 22 so as to ensure the efficient feeding of a hydraulic oil supply required in compliance with the load of the hydraulic pump 1.
