PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device which can obtain uniform and good images regardless of environmental conditions by maintaining a recording medium in a state suitable for recording good images. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device has a heater 11 for heating the recording medium 4, a control part 18 for controlling a quantity of heating by the heater 11, and an environment detecting device 13 for detecting at least one of an environmental temperature and an environmental humidity.
