PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment method having a process of simply and surely obtaining deoxidized water, and capable of preventing corrosion or scaling on a metal surface by using the obtained deoxidized water. SOLUTION: In this water treatment method, the deoxidized water is obtained from the deoxidation apparatus 1 having a hydrogen producer 2 generator producing hydrogen by mixing hypophosphorous acid or its salt with an alkali agent, a mixing and dissolving part 4 mixing and dissolving hydrogen generated in the hydrogen generator 2 to water to be treated, and an oxidation catalyst packed layer 5a for passing the water to be treated containing hydrogen obtained in the dissolving part 4. The deoxidized water is used as boiler feed water. At this time, a phosphate formed in the hydrogen generator 2 is added to deoxidized water in a mixing deoxidized water forming tank 6.
