A user sets a device name which can easily be identified for a terminal device and transmits user identification information and the device name to a terminal management server managing the terminal device. The terminal management server registers the device name while correlating it to the user identification information. Thus, the terminal management server can uniquely identify each terminal by the device name correlated to the user identification information and easily identify the device name by the user. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the labor for operating the terminal management server and realize a service use system in which the user can easily identify the individual terminal device.
