The seat rail pair for especially a motor vehicle has first seat rail (1) movable in a second seat rail (2) in the longitudinal direction and provided with a claw section for interacting with the second rail. The first seat rail has an adaptor section (13) which has at least one fastening point (15) for the fitting of a structural part of the seat. A cut-out (21) in the form of a slot extending straight in the longitudinal direction is provided between the fastening point and claw section, and is formed in the adaptor section of the first seat rail. An independent claim is included for a longitudinally vehicle seat with at least one seat rail pair.
