FIELD: sugar industry, in particular, equipment for filtering of syrups and suspensions, may be used in other branches of industry for filtering of suspensions with high concentration of solid phase. ^ SUBSTANCE: vacuum filter has drum equipped with filtering web, and device for centering and spreading of web. Said device has shaft mounted in bearings and provided with end cams, and mechanism for longitudinal displacement of cams along shaft. Longitudinal racks secured in pairs on shaft are equipped with rollers brought into contact with working surface of end cams. Filtering web centering and spreading device is arranged at inner clean side of filtering web. Longitudinal racks are fixed on shaft by means of rings for reciprocation along shaft, with racks engaging with filtering web. ^ EFFECT: increased service life of filtering web, enhanced reliability in operation of vacuum filter and increased wear resistance of filtering web centering and spreading device. ^ 3 dwg |
