<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus equipped with a toner supply device capable of preventing the occurrence of an abnormal image caused by the depletion of toner in advance by judging a toner's end nearing state at an early stage. <P>SOLUTION: The toner supply device 20 has an attachable/detachable toner bottle 21 in which the toner to be supplied to a developing device 10 is stored, a toner pushing-out member 31 carrying the toner discharged from the bottle 21 toward the developing device 10 through a hopper part 28, and a toner sensor 32 provided on the hopper part 28 so as to detect the existence of the toner discharged from the bottle 21.
