SPIRAL STAIRCASE, CONSTRUCTION METHOD OF SPIRAL STAIRCASE, HANDRAIL FOR SPIRAL STAIRCASE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING HANDRAIL FOR SPIRAL STAIRCASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compose a handrail for a spiral staircase of a handrail element connecting body easy to manufacture.

SOLUTION: Each of divided elements curved in three-dimensional shape formed by dividing the whole length part of a spirally extended wooden handrail at a plurality of parts is replaced with a handrail element 40 formed of a round bar of circular cross section formed in two-dimensional circular arc shape approximate to the three-dimensional curved shape of the divided elements, and the handrail is replaced with the handrail element connecting body 30 formed by connecting the mutually adjacent handrail elements 40 to one another. A plurality of handrail elements 40 are separated into upper and lower handrail elements 41, 42 one each and the required number of intermediate handrail elements 43. All the intermediate handrail elements 43 are provided with the same circular arc length, and the upper and lower handrail elements 41, 42 are shorter in circular arc length than the intermediate handrail elements 43. Two adjacent handrail elements are stuck to one handrail receiver 23.
