PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery producing electric power for lighting a light emitting diode LED only by water and electrodes without using any electrolyte and carrying out self-charging. SOLUTION: Carbon fiber or carbon is used as a positive electrode, while Zn or Fe is used as a negative electrode, and an electromotive force is obtained by immersing the electrodes into water.
