PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize pump performance of a mass-produced fuel pump. SOLUTION: A channel 20 formed in a pump body 15 and extending in the peripheral direction is divided into a first region formed to be constant by a cross sectional area L, a second region formed in such a way that the cross sectional area is reduced toward the downstream side, and a third region formed to be constant by a cross sectional area M. A suction hole 22 formed in the pump body 15 is inclined in the direction of rotation of an impeller and is communicated with the channel 20 in the first region. Since the cross sectional area of the channel 20 at a position where the suction hole 22 is communicated is constant (cross sectional area L) even if there is dispersion in inclination angle of the suction hole 22, it is possible to reduce dispersion in amount of fuel taken into the fuel pump and stabilize pump performance of the mass-produced fuel pump.
