PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary performance device for the game machines which enhances the attractiveness of the games by arranging moving members movable over a wider range in front of the pattern display device while enabling the exact and accurate movement of the moving members based on the specified control conditions. SOLUTION: The auxiliary performance device for the game machines is provided with a mobile performance device 30 which carries out the auxiliary game performances combined with the game performances on the pattern display device capable of variably displaying figures. The mobile performance device 30 is constituted of a first and second bar-shaped moving members 40a and 40b which are disposed on the display surface of the pattern display device capable of variably displaying figures apart at the required interval, first and second drive transmission means 43, 48, 51, 52 and 66 connected to the respective first and second moving members 40a and 40b, a first and second motors 65 and 71 connected to the drive transmission means 43, 48, 51, 52 and 66, a first and second position detection means 81a and 81b for detecting the positions of the respective moving members 40a and 40b and a display control means. The first and second motors 65 and 71 move the respective moving members 40a and 40b in the required directions in front of the display surface.
