PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording device characterized by recording an image, in which the boundary of dots formed on a recording medium is obscured when recording is executed to a region with low recording density. SOLUTION: Recording data being bit data for each nozzle are divided into a plurality of regions in a prescribed unit. The recording density is calculated for each region. And, the recording data are changed to the region in which the calculated recording density is less than a prescribed reference value so that a liquid for further obscuring ink is imparted on the dots of a pixel to which the dots are formed.
