PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester-based resin composition excellent in moldability and capable of developing excellent mechanical properties and high impact strength even to a sharp notch and to provide a processed article made from the composition. SOLUTION: The polyester-based resin composition contains, to 100 pts. wt. (A) polyester resin, 5 to 80 pts. wt. (B) polyolefinic resin, 3 to 80 pts. wt. (C) styrenic elastomer, 0.1 to 50 pts. wt. (D) compatibilizer, and 0 to 100 pts. wt. (E) polycarbonate-based resin and develops a leathery notch Charpy impact strength of 20 kJ/m<SP>2</SP>or higher, desirably, 40 kJ/m<SP>2</SP>or higher at room temperature.
