PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid molding die that does not cause the stripping from the end portion of the bonded face and does not generate the cracking and is excellent in temperature distribution, profile accuracy and durability and that is made of different materials. SOLUTION: The hybrid molding die is provided with a first die portion 11 formed in sheet-like which has a molding face 14 to form an optical element on the surface and a second die portion 12 comprised of a different material from the first die portion which constitutes the base portion of the die and is fixed with the first die portion by fusion. The first die portion has an approximately uniform thickness at the optical effective portion 14a of the central periphery of the molding face and is formed so that the thickness at the periphery portion 16 becomes thinner toward the end portion.
