PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the dust collection efficiency of the dust collector of a jigsaw. SOLUTION: In the dust collector of the jigsaw, a dust sucking port 8 is arranged to enclose a cutting part 10 in which a saw blade 4 intersects a surface plate 2 from its both sides. Dust can be sucked from the vicinity of the cutting part 10, the dust dropped on the surface plate 2 can be collected efficiently, and the dust can be prevented from falling from the surface plate to the down side.
