ARTIFICIAL HAIR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

An artificial hair which is more similar to natural human hairs in texture concerning both appearance and nature than artificial hairs comprising polyamide fibers, polyester fibers, acrylic fibers, or the like and which retains the texture for long. The artificial hair comprises a monofilament comprising polytrimethylene terephthalate, especially a monofilament comprising polytrimethylene terephthalate and having a fineness of 22 to 333 dtex, a melting point of 225 to 235°C, and a glass transition temperature of 45 to 80°C. The artificial hair is similar to natural human hairs in material properties such as elastic recovery, strength, elongation, and texture. It can be inhibited from curling or glossing.
