<p>There is provided a photo-detector capable of detecting incident light intensity distribution of each of the two directions on the light receiving surface and performing imaging with a high sensitivity. Voltage corresponding to the incident light intensity is outputted from a pixel Pm,n arranged at row M and column N. The voltage is read out by a pixel data read out section (20) and imaging is performed. The voltage outputted from the pixel is inputted to a first adder (30) and a second adder (40). In the first adder, voltages outputted from N pixels Pm,1 to Pm,N of each row are added and a voltage corresponding to the addition result is outputted. In the second adder (40), voltages outputted from M pixels P1,n to PM,n of each column are added and a voltage corresponding to the addition result is outputted. According to the voltages outputted from the first adder (30) and the second adder (40), it is possible to detect the incident light intensity distributions of the two directions on the light receiving surface.</p> |
