PULSE WIDTH MODULATION CONTROLLER USING SENSFET AS SWITCH TO STABILIZE PEAK DRAIN-SOURCE CURRENT OF THE SENSFET IRRESPECTIVE OF MANUFACTURING AND TEMPERATURE VARIATIONS

PURPOSE: A pulse width modulation controller using a sensfet as a switch is provided to stabilize a peak drain-source current of the sensfet by controlling a feedback terminal of a current mode PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) controller using one pin. CONSTITUTION: A pulse width modulation controller includes a feedback control circuit having an embedded sensfet(220). The sensfet(220) is used as a switch. When a feedback terminal(200) of the feedback control circuit is controlled by one pin, the sensfet(220) is configured to supply the amount of constant current at the feedback terminal(200) irrespective of a resistance variation of a resistor. The constant current of the feedback terminal(200) is defined by a reference voltage divided by the resistance.
