<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enrich an editing function considering that printing is performed by a two-stage processing involving a time lag of printing reservation and printing. <P>SOLUTION: In this printing network system, printing of file information the content of which can be decided at the time of printing execution can be also reserved. At the time of printing reservation, file information with a fixed content is converted to printing data, and file information the content of which cannot be fixed at that time is converted to printing data at the time of printing execution. When the printing data are transmitted to a printing means, transfer of the file information preliminarily converted to the printing data is performed first, and conversion to printing data or the like is performed by use of this time or the like.
