METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COLORING ELECTRIC WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for coloring an electric wire which can color the electric wire without soiling the electric wire.

SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for coloring the electric wire colors the electric wire by dropping a liquid-like coloring material by a predetermined amount toward the outer surface of the electric wire. The coloring material contains the coloring material and a solvent. The apparatus 1 for coloring the electric wire includes a coloring material supply source 32 for containing the coloring material, a coloring nozzle 31 and a heater 61. The coloring nozzle 31 drops the coloring material from the coloring material supply source 32. The heater 61 has a heating tank 62 and a warm air blower 63. The heating tank 62 holds the coloring nozzle 31. The heating tank 62 allows the coloring nozzle 31 to drop the coloring material. The warm air blower 63 blows warm air into the heating tank 62 to heat the coloring material supply source 32. The heater 61 heats the coloring material in the coloring material supply source 32 in a range of lower than a boiling point of the solvent by blowing the warm air into the heating tank 62 by the warm air blower 63.
