<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely record play information which includes the timing of the actual operation end point of an operator even when a recording halt indication is made during the operation of a keyboard, a panel operator, etc. <P>SOLUTION: Recording of play information and recording halt is indicated through a console panel 5. When detecting the recording halt indication, a CPU 1 decides whether a key of the keyboard 7 is currently being pressed, and halts the play information recording when it is found that no key is being pressed.
