PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the latest article information and to enhance an advertising effect.

SOLUTION: This article providing system comprises a head office device 4 having a server means 3 storing article information, and an article providing device 5 connected to the head office device 4 through a communication line so that article information can be delivered or downloaded. The head office device 4 has an advertisement content changing means for controlling the expression of an advertisement delivered or downloaded with article information to be changed depending on the time of operating the article providing device 5 by customers. The article providing device 5 is necessary for executing the article providing system.
