<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute a device to traffic safety by enabling a driver of a succeeding vehicle to clearly recognize the strength of brake force of a preceding vehicle by varying flickering periods of warning lights 5L, 5R, 6L, 6R and 9. <P>SOLUTION: The driver of the succeeding vehicle is made to recognize stepping amount of a brake pedal 2, that is, the strength of brake force by a warning by varying the flickering periods of the warning lights 5L, 5R, 6L, 6R and 9. As a result, the flickering periods of the warning lights 5L, 5R, 6L, 6R and 9 are changed according to the stepping amount of the brake pedal 2, a change of movement for turning on/off the light can be clearly discriminated and judged by eyes of a person as compared with a change of brightness of light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
