PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe refrigerant leakage detecting device for a flammable refrigerant air-conditioner, having less malfunction or inoperativeness. SOLUTION: The refrigerant leakage detecting device for the flammable refrigerant air-conditioner comprises a first refrigerant leakage detecting means 6 installed at an air outlet 2a of an indoor unit 2, a second refrigerant leakage detecting means 8 installed on a floor surface 7 and having a detected gas specified amount set equal to that of the first refrigerant leakage detecting means 6, and a receiving means 9 for receiving detection signals from theses. A refrigerant leakage alarming means 9 is provided for alarming the occurrence of refrigerant leakage in accordance with the detection signals transmitted when a gas amount detected by the first and second refrigerant leakage detecting means 6, 8 exceeds the specified amount.
