PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner control method for avoiding a transition to defrosting operation, if possible, by controlling the air volume of an outdoor blower during heating operation in accordance with an outside air temperature, an indoor heat exchanger temperature and an outdoor heat exchanger temperature to reduce the degradation of heating performance. SOLUTION: When the outside air temperature is a preset value T°C or lower after starting heating operation, the outdoor blower is operated at a low speed, when the indoor heat exchanger temperature is a preset high temperature threshold value A°C or higher after the passage of a certain time, the outdoor blower is stopped once, and then when the indoor heat exchanger temperature reaches a set low temperature threshold value B°C or lower, the outdoor blower is operated at a low speed again. When the indoor heat exchanger temperature is the preset high temperature threshold value A°C or lower and the outdoor heat exchanger temperature is a preset threshold value C°C or lower, the outdoor blower is changed over into high speed operation, and when the outdoor heat exchanging temperature is a set low temperature threshold value D°C or higher and the indoor heat exchanger temperature is the set high temperature threshold value A°C or higher after the passage of a certain time, the outdoor blower is controlled to be changed over into low speed operation again.
