PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable another information display without obstructing image display by normal visible light. SOLUTION: A display device 10 comprises: each visible light source 21R, 21G, 21B of R, G, B and a light source 41 of wavelength other than a visible wavelength of more than one ("an invisible light source" as follows); modulation means 22R, 22G, 22B, 42 for modulating the light of each light source by pixel information of one pixel or one vertical/horizontal line; a color composition means 30 for synthesizing the light of each light source modulated by the modulation means; and a scanning projection means 50 for displaying image information on a screen 60 by projecting the light synthesized by the color composition means on the screen 60 and making the light scan the screen.
