PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always obtain an optimum image irrespective of combination of a reader and an image output device when linkage copying is performed in a linked image system. SOLUTION: A linked image forming system consists of a plurality of image forming devices (301, 311, 321 etc.). The image which one image reader 301 in the image forming devices reads is outputted by a plurality of the image output devices 303. Output image adjusting data are accumulated on every surface or a rear face in a self- or other image reader 302 and the self-image output device 303, which are combined at the time of forming a linked image. The image which is read by the image reader is formed by using accumulated image adjusting data. When image adjusting data between the image reader and the image forming device is inappropriate or it does not exist, warning is emitted or output of the image is disabled.
