PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent variations in waterproof property at the time of mass production caused by such a case structure that a plurality of members are pasted together with an adhesive, to prevent causes for an increase in cost, and to prevent creep deformation caused by inserting a battery holder having an O-ring or the like into the opening of a case, in a waterproof case for a small electric apparatus for housing a transmitter, etc. of a keyless entry system. SOLUTION: The case for the transmitter 1 comprises a housing 2 which is integrally formed into such a shape as to have one opening, and a lid 3 which is engaged with the opening to seal the housing 2. The lid 3 includes a peripheral guide 4 which is located near the opening of the housing 2 when engaging the lid in the opening and is in contact with a face opposite to a contact face at the time of engaging. The peripheral guide 4 holds part of the housing 2 near the opening from outside, thereby preventing creep deformation of the housing section 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
