PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor that uses an anode body composed of niobium or an alloy containing niobium as the main component and is little deteriorated or suppressed in deterioration to a degree at which aging restoration can be made easily, by reducing the mechanical damage given to the capacitor at the time of forming a packaging resin in the manufacturing method of the capacitor. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of this solid electrolytic capacitor is characterised in that at least the front and rear sides of the soldered portions of anode and cathode terminals are coated with coating members and a capacitor element connected with the anode and cathode terminals are dipped in a fluid resin and pulled up from the resin, and after the resin is set, the metallic surfaces of the anode and cathode terminals are exposed by peeling the coating members from the surfaces.
